WATCH | BroadReach COVID Brigade in action! By December 2021, South Africa had reached an overall vaccination rate of 43%, but this was much lower in rural areas. So what did we do? We sent in the BroadReach COVID brigades – our locally trusted teams boosting vaccine access and demand creation. Thanks to funding from USAID and our partnership with Mpumalanga Department of Health and Kwa-Zulu Natal Department of Health, our teams have been able to vaccinate tens of thousands of people in rural areas since February 2022.
