Previously, Michael was Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Optum Ventures. Michael was Co-Founder and CEO of Humedica, a pioneer and leader in the field of population health management and big data. Following Humedica's acquisition by UnitedHealth Group (UHG), he broadened his role within UHG as President and CEO of Optum Analytics. Prior to launching Humedica, Michael was a Senior Managing Director at Leerink Partners (now SVB Leerink). He also was CEO of PharMetrics, which was acquired by IMS Health (now IQVIA). Michael is an investor, director, and advisor to a portfolio of market leading companies in digital health both in the US and globally.
